Throughout the course of Visual Communication, I became significantly more proficient in Photoshop. I learned new skills that I had never used such as image blending and AI Generative Fill. The below projects are exemplary of the skills I’ve gained.

Diptych: This was an early assignment that challenged us to align two photos side by side to tell a story. I used an image of a triceratops next to a plastic triceratops, commenting on how decomposed dinosaurs are turned into crude oil, which is then used to create plastic dinosaurs. Essentially, plastic dinosaurs are made of real dinosaur.
Project 1-Editorial Illustration: This project challenged us to create an image that represented the message conveyed by an online article. I chose an article regarding a phenomenon in which the Earth temporarily receives a second moon. For this image, I decided to add a small twist of humor.
