I had never opened Adobe Illustrator until this class, but I am finishing this quarter with Illustrator as one of my favorite design softwares that I have ever used. I have already begun using Illustrator skills, learned through the projects below, to assist me in my academic and extracurricular ventures.

Negative Space: These illustrations are examples of how negative space can be used around words in logos to elevate the visual message. I found the exact color code for the Golden Gate bridge to match the color and give it a more “San Francisco-y” feel. I also found the font Apple uses for their watch to make the watch logo seem more like an Apple ad.
Project 2 Infographic: This assignment pushed me to use every skill that I learned in Illustrator. These ranged from expanding objects for precise changes to making graphs that clearly display data in an attractive manor.
Pizzeria Logo: This assignment challenged us to create a pizza logo from scratch. I was particularly proud of this assignment at the time as I figured out how to add shape to the melting cheese, contributing to the gooey, tastier look.
